Websites for UK tradespeople

They're looking you up right now.

Two thirds of customers check you online before they ring. If there's nothing to find, they call the next name on the list. I build websites for plumbers, electricians, builders and roofers — written and set up for you.

How it works

Four steps. No jargon.

  1. 01

    Tell me about the business

A short call, or a few emails if you are on site. I learn what you do, who calls you, and what the site needs to bring in.

  2. 02

    You get a fixed price

A number and a date, agreed before any work starts. No hourly billing, no scope creep, no surprise invoice at the end.

  3. 03

    I build it

You see it early and say what you think. I write the words too, so you are not staring at a blank page wondering what to send me.

  4. 04

    It goes live

Set up, tested and handed over. Ongoing support if you want it, and nothing you have to log into if you don't.

What clients say

The Shan Booth site is exactly what I needed — beautiful design, simple checkout, and bookings started coming in within the first week of going live.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website cost?

Most small-business sites fall between £800 and £3,000 depending on the number of pages and features. E-commerce builds start higher. Every quote is fixed and agreed up front, so there are no surprise invoices.

How long does a website take to build?

A typical brochure site takes two to four weeks from kick-off to launch. Larger or e-commerce projects usually run four to eight weeks. Timelines depend mostly on how quickly content and feedback come back.

Do you work with businesses outside your area?

Yes. I work remotely with small businesses across the United Kingdom. Everything runs over email and video calls, so your location makes no difference to the process or the price.

Will my website show up on Google?

Every site I build ships with the technical SEO groundwork in place: fast server-rendered pages, proper meta tags, structured data, a sitemap and mobile-friendly layouts. That gives you a solid foundation, though ranking for competitive terms also depends on your content and time.

Will I be able to update the website myself?

Yes. Every site includes an admin area built into your own website — you go to your address, add /admin, and sign in. On the Starter option you can write and publish blog posts. On Business and E-commerce you can edit any page: prices, services, opening hours, photos and text. It works like writing an email, changes appear within seconds, and you cannot break the design because the layout stays locked.

Do you provide hosting and ongoing support?

Sites are deployed to modern hosting that is fast and inexpensive to run, and I can manage that for you. Ongoing support and maintenance are available if you want them, and are never bundled in without asking.

What do you need from me to get started?

An idea of what your business does, examples of sites you like, and any text or images you already have. If content is not ready, that is normal, and I can work through it together as the build progresses.
